ADVON was selected as the Design-Build lead for the development of a state-of-the-art 11,767-square-foot Veterans Affairs (VA) Clinic. This purpose-built facility is designed to provide world-class specialized care, focusing on Audiology, Mental Health, and Pain Management for our nation’s veterans.

Turnkey Design-Build Delivery: As the design-builder, ADVON managed the total lifecycle of the project—from initial architectural concepts and engineering to final vertical construction and clinical commissioning. The facility was engineered to meet stringent VA standards, ensuring a therapeutic, secure, and highly efficient environment for both patients and healthcare providers.

Specialized Clinical Infrastructure: The construction involved a comprehensive multi-trade scope to deliver a high-functioning medical facility:

• Structural Excellence: A robust building envelope featuring masonry, structural steel, and a dual-performance roofing system utilizing both TPO and standing seam metal roofing.
• Modern Clinical Finishes: Installation of Integrated Patient Care Modular Casework, specialized medical countertops, and automated door systems to enhance accessibility and clinical workflow.
• Smart Building Systems: Implementation of energy-efficient HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, all unified under a sophisticated Direct Digital Control (DDC) interface for precision climate management.
• Low Voltage & Safety: Deployment of mission-critical telecommunications, public address systems, and advanced fire alarm and suppression systems to ensure patient safety and data security.

Comprehensive Site Development: ADVON transformed the greenfield site through extensive civil engineering and infrastructure improvements:

• Utility Integration: Demolition of legacy structures and the installation of a new underground utility network.
• Environmental Management: Design and installation of a dedicated retention pond to manage stormwater runoff and ensure environmental compliance.
• Secure Access: Development of a new asphalt parking lot and the installation of a site security fence to provide a safe, controlled environment for visiting veterans.
