Leon County chose ADVON to modify approximately 8000 square feet of an existing facility into the District II Medical Examiner Office. This building is located at 525 Appleyard Drive in Tallahassee, Florida. The facility was converted into the Medical Examiner’s Office where autopsies are performed with associated office and support space. The work consisted of: demolition of existing building components/systems, foundation/slab work, new interior finishes, millwork, doors/windows, laboratory casework/equipment, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, exterior finishes and canopies, new autopsy laboratory, new interior bullet resistant wall, door, window, and miscellaneous roof repair.
