The USACE Charleston District awarded the DB NC105 Caging, Lighting, and HVAC project to ADVON Construction. This is a Design Build Project to upgrade Warehouse 1412A at the NC105 Charlotte Army Reserve Center. The project will require the design and installation of new secure caging with integrated shelving for storage within the existing space. The new caging will have retrofitted electrics to include LED lighting and dedicated power outlets. The existing electrical panel will be upgraded to accommodate the new HVAC and electrical requirements. ADVON will demolish the existing HVAC system and design and install new heat pumps with ducted mini-split systems with new ceiling mounted exhaust fans for a balanced climate within the facility. The facility life safety requirements will be upgraded to include panic hardware on existing egress doors.
